AFANG SOUP

Popularly called ‘Okazi soup’ by the Igbos of Eastern Nigeria, Afang soup is a leafy soup prepared with leaves of the Gnetum africanum (Afang) and Talinum fruticosum (Waterleaf) plants. It is native to the Efiks, the major denizens of Cross River & Akwa Ibom States in Nigeria. This soup comes standard with 2 Tiger Prawns, 2 Snails, Cow skin, pieces of stockfish and your choice of protein(s).
